First Time Mixing Peptides?
It's Easier Than You Think!
No science degree needed. Just a few simple steps and you're good to go. We'll walk you through everything from start to finish.
What You'll Need
Your Peptide Vial
The freeze dried powder that came with your order. Keep it refrigerated until ready to mix.
Bacteriostatic Water
Special sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol that keeps your peptide safe and bacteria free.
Get Bac WaterInsulin Syringes
1ml insulin syringes with fine 29g or 30g needles. Tiny needles mean virtually no pain at all.

Optional but recommended. Quick wipe on the vial top and injection site keeps everything clean.
Mixing Your Peptide
Pop the Caps Off
Get your vials ready
Remove the plastic flip caps from both your peptide vial and your bacteriostatic water. You'll see a rubber stopper underneath. Give both rubber stoppers a quick wipe with an alcohol swab if you have one.
Draw Up Your Bac Water
Usually 1ml or 2ml depending on your peptide
Take a fresh syringe and push the needle through the rubber stopper of your bac water vial. Turn it upside down and slowly pull back the plunger to draw up the amount you need.
Most peptides use 1ml or 2ml of bac water. Check your product page or ask us on WhatsApp if you're unsure how much to use for your specific peptide.
Add Water to Your Peptide
Be gentle here
Push the needle through the rubber stopper of your peptide vial. Here's the important bit: aim the water at the inside wall of the vial, not directly onto the powder. Let it trickle down slowly.
Never shake your peptide vial. Gentle swirling is fine but aggressive shaking can damage the peptide molecules.
Let It Dissolve
Patience is key
Leave the vial to sit for a few minutes. You can give it a very gentle swirl to help things along. The powder will dissolve into a clear solution. If there's still bits floating around after 5 minutes, another gentle swirl should do the trick.
Once fully dissolved, you're ready to go! Pop it in the fridge and it'll stay good for 4 to 6 weeks.
Where to Inject
Good News: Peptide Injections Are Subcutaneous
That means you're just going into the fatty layer just under your skin. Not into muscle, not into a vein. The needles are tiny (think smaller than what they use for flu jabs) and most people say they barely feel anything at all.
Belly Fat (Stomach)
Pinch a small fold of skin around your belly button area (not too close, about 2 inches away) and inject into the fold.
- Easiest to do yourself
- Most fatty tissue available
- Virtually painless
Upper Arm
The back of your upper arm where there's a bit of softness. Might need a mirror or a steady hand but works great.
- Good alternative site
- Easy to rotate sites
Outer Thigh
The outer side of your thigh about halfway down. Plenty of tissue to work with and easy to reach.
- Large injection area
- Easy to see what you're doing

Open Peptide CalculatorCommon Questions
Does it hurt?
Honestly? Most people say they barely feel it. We're talking about tiny 29g or 30g insulin needles. Way smaller than what you'd get at the doctor. A quick pinch and it's done.
How long does mixed peptide last?
Once mixed with bac water and kept in the fridge, most peptides stay good for 4 to 6 weeks. The benzyl alcohol in bac water keeps bacteria from growing.
Can I use regular water instead?
No. Regular water (even sterile saline) doesn't have the preservative that bac water has. Your peptide would need to be used immediately or it could go off. Always use bacteriostatic water.
Should I rotate injection sites?
Yes, it's a good idea to switch up where you inject. Rotate between different areas of your stomach, or alternate between stomach, arms, and thighs. This prevents any irritation building up in one spot.
